On September 10, 2021, the staff and residents at Oceanview Manor Home for Adults were delighted to welcome our District Director of Operations for District 47, Mr. Ari Kagan.

“Our residents are active members of the surrounding community. We always want to facilitate them being engaged in all aspects of the Coney Island community as well as the community at large” states Lisa Vider, Oceanview Manor Home for Adults Administrator.

Mrs. Vider continues “Since Coney Island is a small community, a lot of our staff resides in the surrounding area as well. This visit was also a unique opportunity for staff who are area residents to speak directly, face to face, with the person who has a relationship with the city council and can advocate on their behalf.”

Oceanview Manor Home for Adults is a leader in providing assisted living program care to residents of the greater Brooklyn area and beyond. We were pleased to have this opportunity to talk about our history in the community, showcase our newly renovated building and discuss our concerns as a healthcare provider in the age of the pandemic.
